A video montage of women who gave birth vaginally after multiple Cesareans. There are moms who'd had 2, 3, and 4 previous surgical deliveries; some went on to deliver in the hospital and others at home.

  • Well, I am expecting our 7th baby. I have had 6 c-sections and have found a doctor who will support me with a VBAC, I am due in August...It can be done after 1 or 2 or 3 or more...

  • I agree Xauby, what's the point of risking yourself & your baby? Having major surgery that you don't need (especially a 3rd or 4th+ cesarean) is RISKY. All kinds of risks increase with additional c-sections, but the risk of uterine rupture after additional c-sections does not.

Unfortunately, some OBs recommend interventions that are not only unnecessary, but actually harmful to moms & babies.

  • We don't have any ican midwives near Ontario, Oregon that are allowed to help with a vaginal birth after c-sections. The hospitals won't even do it.So I will have my baby at home, on my own. After 3 not needed c-sections.

  • I think this is great for these women. However, I am pregnant with my sixth baby, all of the previous 5 were c sections, and this one will be too. I have CP and a narrow pelvis. I just want to say, if you are not able to have a vaginal birth ever, you are not less of a woman, nor are you less of a mom. Best of luck to all the women hoping for a vback and to those women who are not able to do it.

  • This is so beautiful! It makes me cry everytime I watch it. Although, my tears are not only those of pure happiness and pure joy for these women and others like them, but they are also in sadness and shame. Sadness because the hope I had after first seeing this is lost forever. Sadness that I will never again get the chance to try and shame in that I am not strong enough to try again.

  • I have 4 children! All sections and after the first i was scared into the second, then told there was NO WAY EVER that i could have a natural birth fir any after! Im so upset! I would have probably had 6 children but now have been told its too dangerous! I know i am lucky to have my babies but i feel the option to have more has been stolen from me!

  • @keeperathome1970 I think what you have done is so wonderful. You give me so much hope. Thankyou. I would love a response. If not thats fine. May you and your family be blessed aways.

  • Where did you find your Dr. - share his name!!! Fabulous! You did it!

  • I've had 2 c-sections. I had trouble bonding with my first son. and depression. With my second, It was planned, I cry because i feel bad that I have trouble bonding. I hate how everyone thinks this is way easier then vaginal..ITs not..i would love to have my baby layed on my chest when their born :(

  • (CONTINUATION OF LAST COMMENT) Both left me with a baby in my arms! Thank God I had a baby in my arms the third time also. These videos breed stupidity and promote c section moms lack of self worth. It makes me sick!
