He WAS NOT a professor at the University of Penn. He served as a visiting lecturer in Asian American Studies where he was an adjunct member of the staff. He assisted with two courses, "Images of Asian Americans in the Media" and "Contemporary American Teen Films. Basically he was a guest speaker. Look up the meaning of ADJUNCT.
