Beautiful bird. Glad to see that some people are flying those males. My female flies at 1164 but to trap a bird at 750! WOW!!! He looks like he might have been on "his way out" when you trapped him. Lucky bird! How was his keel when you got him?

@MeaganDuffee i just found a baby redtail his wing is badly messed up and super skinny i gave him some raw steak and he eat it what do i need to do to keep him leagel wise?

@datrickit omg, so true about him being the worst scenario! I've seen many hawks getting their tail broken but this is the worst I've seen on a hawk... I hope he has a full tail now :)

inexperienced birds often break tail feathers during their first year,, worst case scenario was him
