Your doing the right thing for your kid! I'm 14 years old now and my mom pretty much raised me on 80's rock and roll. that's almost all i listen too now. Hell, once my friends started listening to crap like Hannah Montana, i stopped hanging out with them. Teen pop idols are ruining our generation. The first thing people ask me now when i say i like music is, "oh! so you like Jonas brother? or high school musical? or Hannah montana? or Justin Beiber?". Those songs are stupid and have no meaning.

That was sweet...xD Your kid's a good dancer, lol. It's really great that you expose your kid to good music like that, I'm sick of kids growing up only listening to "Radio Disney" like so many of my friends did...5/5, faves, lol.

Too bad you danced to the worst of the 80s and not good songs like this. I've heard the freight train roar of a tornado and that was better than those two no-talents.

I am bing dead serious here. You usually do not see a 3-year old dancing to ANYTHING by Styx unless he were exposed to it. I am 28 and I was the world's youngest James Taylor fan (loved his music since I was 3) and of '70s-early '80s soft rock in general and I owe it all to what I heard in the back of my parents' Chevy Nova as a kid. I wish more parent's would take the time to do this. Then maybe we would have more of a variety of music at school dances & such than rap/hip hop/emo crap.

Right on! I'm 29, which would explain why I expose my kids to such music. And anyone outside of our age group would definitely have taken your comment as sarcasm, but I agree it's one of the best songs from the 80s!!
