but she does deserve credit when credit is due. she won 3 clay court titles, saving a MP against Li Na in Rome. and even when the draw is easy, you still have to actually win the matches and take advantage of the tiny amount of competition present. which she did. but she wont be so lucky in 2013 i'll tell you that!

sorry sista but the reason she won roland garros was because serena was knocked out of marias quarter early, vika lost in the fourth round to cibulkova. she had previously received a beating from serena on clay, and azarenka would have stepped it up for a grand slam/revenge for losing in stuttgart. she got SO lucky with her draw. maria didnt even have to face wozniacki in the 4th round! and SARA ERRANI in the final?? what a joke. her only obstacle was kvitova, which i admit is well deserved

I'm impressed with how much better Sharapova has gotten over the past couple years, I really had written her off and felt Azarenka was a Sharapova 2.0. I hope Maria can keep it up and stay in the top 3 where she deserves. The way she lost to Li Na was a big shock, hopefully they'll have better matches in the future.
