Patterson Blvd Calgary skate

we had a couple amazing sessions at patterson in early march. The nice weather made for a good turn out!!! the season is starting off great dudes keep up the hustle!

thats not entirely clear. skateboarding is illegal, however these are not ridden like skateboards, they are used for commuting, like a bike. and although we might not have mechanical brakes, we can all stop very quickly by sliding or footbraking.

and its not like we just do this because we're reckless thrill seekers. many of us compete internationally to represent calgary on a global circuit. The problem is is that we have no place to train.

Leee! this is badass. Gillert and I came up from Lethbridge for a buddies wedding the other weekend. ( AUG 10 2011 ) anyways we looked for the highest point and discovered patterson. Amazing roads you boys have up there. Cheers dude hope all is rockin'

well there has been 3 races there, and the first two COP charged the organizers over 10,000 dollars just to use the hill. The third one they stepped up and helped organize it, but due to politics between the promoter and COP there was no race this year.

basically if you want to ride paskapoo, either you need to cough up 10,000 dollars, or do one run before you get caught and arrested by security.

the run we usually do ends up going uphill at the end. if you go right to the bottom you have to slide out, but we take a right turn into a crescent.

the fastest corner is around 60 km/h
