Poppyman350, what you fail to realize, as with all spectators and critics...is that once you create something, anything...it no longer belongs to the artist/creator, but the people.
This is undeniable. If you want you're art to be shared as a part of you alone, you can never show it to anyone. If you want to make money on it, expect to make only as much as your willing to devote time to making.
If this artist wanted to become rich from making this work, he would have found a way to do so.
it's worth 50 or 60 dollars when you realize that it's all hand made, no computer graphics, not computer animation, it's 100% handmade by a single person! ONE PERSON! it's worth the money.
If you all want to see it so bad, buy it! Support the guy who put his heart into his creation! Downloading things, and watching them on the Internet is STEALING. You'd rather steal a piece of art than pay so the creator can make more? Bastards...
I own both of those DVDs. The MORE Special Edition DVD set has TWO DISCS! (It's got a bloody HOUR long documentary and a treasure trove of behind the scenes stuff). The GREENER DVD also has a long-form, very engaging documentary on it. It costs $15.95- not $60.
Can someone please just upload this film? I'm sure it's brilliant, breathtaking and introspective, but no short film is worth fifty or sixty fucking dollars. I went on Osbourne's website and he's selling both More and Greener for forty to sixty dollars each. Keep in mind these are films under ten minutes. Who does he think he is?
thank you for posting this. I saw "Greener" back in the 90's and it was really trippy, especially the scene where the green dude takes a shit.
