While interviewing Republican Party Chairman Michael Steele on Tuesdays CBS Early Show, co-host Harry Smith referred to recent comments by Senator Harry Reid: [He] said Republicans are on the wrong side of history when it comes to this health care bill and very soberly...compared those who opposed health care to those who opposed civil rights legislation....How would you respond to that?
Steele fired back: Well, you know, it was not a sober moment for Harry Reid at all. It was an ignorant moment for Harry Reid. Steele continued: Im kind of sick and tired of, you know, the Left and Democrats in this country, when they get into trouble and dont get their way...they play that race card, that slavery card, that civil rights card. Smith didnt even mention Reids further comparison of Republicans to those who resisted ending slavery.
If you had to give a description of Obama (and not knowing who he was), you would describe him as a lean, tall, BLACK male. You wouldn't even know he had a white mother just by looking at him.

You should have explained yourself better the first time. OK, I'll play along. Actually, if I saw him as a random person walking down the street I wouldn't think anything of it unless he drew undue attention to himself like if he was picking his nose or smoking a doobie. But in reality, where I live, BO is half white and half black. That be the fact.

You put race above issues. You're claim that Obama won because of his race makes YOU a bigot, because all you can see is his race.

Pointing out YOUR focus on race in no way makes me focusing on race. I'm focusing on the sheep morons like yourself who put race above issues. You're a very angry person, angry for all the wrong reasons. -Not unlike your hero Obama!

Oh God.
Let's start over.
If Obama was some random person that you have never known and you saw him on the street, would you say to yourself, "there goes a half black man"?
No you wouldn't. You would say he was black.

Huh?
This can't be.
I thought blacks only voted for Obama because he was black.
Now you're saying they vote Dem anyway?
Wow! Shocker.....................*sigh*

And as soon as a black graduates college, you'll give a high school dropout drug addict white a job before the black graduate. So you can fuck off.

"People like you voted for Obama BECAUSE he was black, as if that somehow had anything to do with anything."
Hmmm........seems like you're the one focusing on race. Hypocrite much?
Oh, and 90-95% of blacks voted for Clinton twice, Gore, and Kerry before you start bitching about that. And Hillary was leading among blacks before S.C. See? I have facts. All you have are racist GOP typical rants. Fuck off.

"People like you voted for Obama BECAUSE he was black, as if that somehow had anything to do with anything."
$13 billion a month in Iraq, failed healthcare, failing economy, failing financial sector, housing sector, $500 billion deficit, $11 trillion in national debt, and all you can say is we voted Obama because of his race. Please. You have to do better than that. A frog would have been "liberal McCain" as you all called him.

@VegasBilgeRat
"Conservatives will welcome any candidate who shares principles, regardless of their color."
Can I get lie of the night for $500 Alex?
Alan Keyes, who is to the right of both Bush AND McCain didn't even get considered by you hypocrites. You keep nominating big spending Republicans and leave "black conservatives" like Keyes in the wilderness. Please.........
