you're very welcome,sortashaman. has an essence of joy and hope about it. was shocked to find just lately that one side of the old 45 RPM was completely broken in two. very very carefully lined up the record in the sun, then put the slightest drip of superglue on the outside edge of it.

then whipped over and over clockwise with soft cotton iso alcohol wet cloth, then quickly dried with clean soft cotton cloth.

you hear the result, not too bad praise the Lord for it. thanx for comment

I really don't know what i would do without chapin. Im fifteen years old. I've been listening to him since i was in the womb, he's the only reliable thing in my life. always beautiful. always talented, always great. no matter what song, no matter what day, no matter what mood. it's the best thing i can even think of to be that musically creative to have a song for every feeling. i love harry chapins music<3

@pvelectric Thank you. I remember, when music opened up the conscientiousness of hearts, when it said there was hope and love for our human family was the answer. But then 1980 happened. A "new king of greed" was elected and his reign continues. His policy of "me first" corrupted what was good in our country. He broke the first union. Those that invoke his name and policies, while we pay their wages, don't care about "every day people." Harry Chapin spoke for all of us.Love&Light, Shinylite

My second favourite Harry Chapin song ever (and I think I've got them all). Only surpassed by the live version of Tangled up Puppet.

Thanks for posting this marvelous gem! Last time I heard this was on the radio, summer, 1981, not long after Harry Chapin died. I was privileged to attend one of his last concerts in March of that year, in Seattle...
