Denise: *walks into his room and throws the packet towards him.* Here
Joe: What's this? *opens the orange packet and takes out the papers and reads them.*
Denise: It's what I tried to tell you. That girl is a whore and I told you about it. You just didn't want to listen. Now you know what I've been trying to tell you.
Joe: No, no, no, no. These are fixed papers.
Denise: Oh really? Look, it's Dr. Charles' signature and you have known him your whole life.
Joe: So you were telling the truth. *has tears in his eyes.* She just lied to me. She wanted me to take her kid as my own. I can't believe I was so STUPID! *runs out*
Denise: Joseph! Joseph! *runs down the stairs*
Joe: *already heading out of their driveway.*

--Joe's POV—
I can't believe I was so stupid! I loved her. I was gonna marry her. I was gonna have a child with her. At least one that I thought was mine. I should've believed Nick, I should've believed them. Why didn't I? I know why; because I was so helplessly in love. I loved her and it just breaks my heart because I fell so hard for her. I was almost to her house when a flash back went through my head.
--Flashback—
Selena: Hey Joe! Over here! *waves her hand in the air*
Joe: *smiles* Hey guys.
???: *comes over* Hey Sel! *fakes a smile*
Selena: Hi Taylor *says in an annoyed tone*
Taylor: Oh, hi. *bats her eyelashes at Joe while turning one of her blond locks*
Joe: *fell for her right away* Hiiii. *says dreamily*

--Back to Reality—
I shook the memory out of my head. I parked the car and went into Taylor's house. Another car was there but I just figured it was her sister. I knocked and waited but she didn't come. I looked under the mat for the spare key. I finally found it and unlocked the door. I started walking upstairs and heard moaning. "OH GOD LUCAS! RIGHT THERE! UHH UHH UHH!" It was Taylor's voice! I walked up to her room very quietly. I opened the door to find her and Lucas Till fucking. He groaned as she moaned. This was something that was gonna be burnt in my head for the rest of my life. It's so scarring. I never pictured her to make love to anybody else other than me. I felt so dirty, so used. I cleared my throat trying to hold back the tears. They seemed to notice my company so they stopped. "JOE!" Taylor screamed trying to cover her nude body. "I guess this is your baby's daddy huh?" She had tears in her eyes but I don't care. "I can't believe you lied to me?! And me, I feel so fuckin retarded 'cause I fell for you, you slut! I wanted to marry you, raise that child as my own! You don't have a heart you whore! My mom was right! You just used me, and me like the dumbass I am, believed you! I believed it was love! You played with me, with the love I had for you, the respect!" Anger flared through my veins. I felt used, I felt...disgusting. I looked at Taylor who was just looking down. Lucas had his arms around her. She looked up at me and smirked. "Wow, Joe. You are so GULLIBLE! You actually thought I liked you, much less loved you?!" She laughed. "I wouldn't love you even if you were the last person on the planet!" "Thank GOD! I wouldn't even love you if that kid was even mine. Give me my ring back now!" She looked at me and said,"No." with a conceded face on. Anger boiled through my veins. "Give it to me NOW! Or else I'll call the cops and tell them that you STOLE it from me, you HOE!" She looked at me with scared eyes and took off the ring then chucked towards my head. It ended up landing at my feet. I picked it up and walked out the door.

I parked the car in front of my driveway and headed up the steps to the door. I walked in with my eyes facing the floor along with my head. I looked up to see Demi, sitting there in a beautiful dress.

She looked at the door and looked at me. I swear, I think I felt butterflies.
