  • Hes actually quite a good speaker a bright guy when hes not reading from a script :P

  • what tha fuck is this booring ass shit supposed to accoplish? the rcp (revisionist capitalist part) needs to take some lessons from alex jones (the right wing nut that he is) in making videos.

  • There's nothing for anyone to draw from when you reduce peoples line over the author or their style. This is an approach of capitalist production relations. IrisBreight is incorrect in her statement, If the RCP is trying to branch out the internet, we shouldn't be dogmatic, but approach their branching out on a principaled basis. The RCP has been slow around the internet question, but does it help to raise the sights of the people by not recognizing when correct analysis are made?

  • I agree with Iris... We need a revolutionary movement, but one that is actually excited about it and doesn't just read off a piece of paper in monotone with a gray sheet in the background. Carl Dix is, unfortunately, a very poor choice of spokesperson. He's the most boooooooring speaker I've ever heard.

  • Also, I want to clarify that I agree with the sentiment that bourgeois elections and Obama are illusions. This stuff needs to be said. I think we need a communist revolution. But this weird isolated usage of t he media--this desire to break into the 'superstructure' while fearing the internet...it's silly. And when 'the truth' doesn't appeal the the Masses because the quality (and frankly, enthusiasm) is so low, you get to feel like unappreciated saviors! You win!

  • Um, hello. The RCP finally decides youtube isn't too dangerous to actually utilize and reach the masses and you make a boring mechanical reading your choice? I can imagine why all the comments are positive...the only people who will watch it are members! And the RCP reading of the democrats, cf, and elections has been very idealist, hyped and wrong. That 'Trump Card' article by Avakian....a more rambling, incoherent mess I never read.

  • Message was clear. Great first effort. We don't need a better form of imperialism that's based on profit first and conquest. Obama is already appointing figureheads for the ruling class. A completely different world is possible.

  • First of all, this message is right on time and right on target. People need to stop believing in the false hope and dead end called "Barack Obama" and we need to build a revolutionary movement in the USA.

Secondly, this is a great thing that Revolution newspaper is starting to do, I hope it becomes a regular feature. Freemanzee and others - you should forward your suggestions to the paper directly through their "comments" form on the website, so they can improve it next time around.

  • I concur. Messages cannot be heeded if no one wants to hear them beforehand.

  • No revolution until you learn to produce media. This soundtrack sucks. Mic is too far, and the room has ambient noise.

You want influence? We all do. We need to learn to make better media. Whatever the ideas, the wrapping does matter.

Frankly, I might ask ... "If you can't make a video on a high school quality level, can I trust you to make or lead a r(R)evolution?"

Mumia's jailhouse recordings (by Hamrahan) sound relatively better.

    Disappointed Revolution reader.
