I think Ric Flair was okay with going, AS LONG AS THERES NO CLOSE UPs on him, or having him doing any speeches/promos on WWE TV. Otherwise, he's just fine.
KEVIN NASH kinda did the same in 2008. Nash has a personal relationship with WWE, so Vince and Triple H gave him tickets to WrestleMania 24 (2008), even when he was under contract with TNA at the time.

@NighTmareRebornX Damn Right about Jeff Hardy.

@wweman6 It's different for him; Ric Flair has all rights to be where ever the hell he wants to be whenever he wants; especially the hall of fame being that he's part of it; unlike all these dumbasses saying "ohhh but Jeff Hardy wasn't there"; meanwhile the crack fiend will never even be in the hall of fame

@wweman6 TNA is more cool with their employees mentioning or doing stuff for wwe.
However if Ric was signed with WWE and went to a TNA event, he would be gone in a heartbeat.

i wonder who that old lady was talking to linda at 0.39

@wweman6 I believe TNA was fine with him there believe it or not. I think it was something among the lines of how it would give TNA more publicity. Beings there would be a possibility that fans would search what he was doing now,if they didn't know.
