The sanscrit word BUDDHA means "miraculously aware" and shouldn't be used as synonymous with the word GOD. They are entirely different concepts, that are diametrically opposed. Buddhism is not a theistic religion. It teaches a method of seeing the true nature of reality and of your self. If we look within, we can all become miraculously aware.

i think sluggo243 was just being mischievous.could tell from his writing that his heart wasn't that bad.instead of telling him off, why not take this opportunity to share what we know about buddhism teaching.

Buddha definitely wasn't lazy, he slept 1 hour a day and taught the dharma in the other 23. Literally.
As for Buddha being fat, he walked all around India, and he only eight one or two meals a day. Whether they were vegetarian is debatable. Your probably thinking of the Chinese Buddha Qieci, who lived 1500 years later.
