My First Fujara

Being a whistle player I was very impressed by this giant pennywhistle when I first discovered it. I had to have one!

The Fujara is an overblown fipple flute from Slovakia. I made this one from junkdojo's (Paul Marshall) instructions and it worked fine first time.

It is in the key of G and the main body is 1.25in ABS Drain pipe. The blowing tube is from half inch CPVC water pipe.

Since I don't know how to play it I improvised for this demonstration.

Hey! I was wondering if you also used cork in the end for the sound hose/fipple? I'm having a really hard time finding cork that sie out here. I've found cork board and standard wine bottle corks but they're not big enough:p

Any ideas?

I used a wooden plug that I made both for the windway and the end plug.

Excellent job, sir. I want to build a fujara also, but are there any good tutorials online with proper measurements and placement of the holes? You said that your's is in the key of "G". How did you go about tuning it?
