@jasonlajoie We have MILLIONS of wood frame homes that are well over 100 years old here in the US. Granted, building from concrete and stone is guaranteed to last longer, but don't come down too harshly on old wood frame structures. They exist all over Europe and the Americas. I have yet to see a "disposable" home that can't last 50 years. You're being melodramatic.

@72Yonatan The white polystyrene never breaks down. This method is just fine for earthquake areas as it's walls are solid, steel reinforced (I assume) concrete. Building with wooden forms is just fine too for companies that do it as their business since they re-use all the wood again with the exception of some small bracing 2x4s & 2x6s. This block system wont take off because of the foam on both sides. It requires time consuming fastening of any finished surfaces other than those troweled on.

This isn't "the wave of the future", we've been building concrete homes here in Switzerland for a hundred years now. Before that we built with stone. It's been about longevity for us here. In the U.S. they've been building 'disposable' homes for decades now. Ones that aren't fit to renovate in 50 years, just tear it down and build new. I'm living in a wooden home built well over 100 years ago out of solid beams. It's been built to last many generations as it has and will continue to.

This sounds as if it might be a very practical direction to go for areas that do not have many earthquake concerns. My house is built of concrete block, but does not have the foam insulation that is seen here with this new system. So this is a clever way to provide for the insulation, as well as eliminating the wooden-pouring-lumber. My only remaining question is about the longevity of the foam insulation itself.

I know a person who's dealing with this materials, although I myself don' t know what the heck it is all about and trying to find out the outcome from people who's done it; but I do have some kind of foam stuffs put on my attic and roofing, they work good especially during summer, the heat wasn't as brutal as before

better pour it before the wind blows.

What a stupid kind of video is this, that does not permit to be paused? We would not be forced to watch anything at anytime. Again, simply stupid.

@luizmiranda1950 Actually the button at the bottom of the video and to the left is the play pause button. Try it and see if you can pause it.
