This is nonsense. At 299kmh, the closing speed with those cars coming towards him would be about 370kmh. That's like overtaking a stationary object (or car) at 235mph! Pigs arse...you would hardly see it, let alone see it as a blur.

Maybe he timed it just right. Sit by the side of the road, let the last car pass, and if there isn't another one in 5 minutes, you should be good to go.
I've seen this video a bunch of times now and it still is fascniating to watch every time.
