@Ale93crespo actualy federer is caled "the best ever" he was pronounced the best player of the decade (he is the first to get that title) and he was pronounced the best player ever because he has the greatest results of all players that are or were on atp tour...

but i hope that now djokovic gets his moment of glory. he just needs to settle some things in his mind....i think that a good wimbledon rush this year could do it...finale or title:)

Djokovic could be the #1, but he knows it all too well, and so he is nervous trying to live up to everyone's expectations, including his own. The same goes for Murray. Both of these guys got to #2, and immediately hit serious slumps. Murray made the AO final but was clearly nervous throughout the whole thing; Djokovic won Dubai again this year, but hasn't even reached a semifinal since.

In short, Djokovic can't handle being too good.

If he is the best player in the world, then why is he 23 years old without ever having been n.1 , been only in two grand slam finals, won only one and won nothing this year so far?

I mean, Nadal is only one year older than Djoko, but he has won 6 GS, 39 titles in total and this despite the fact that he missed great parts of the season last year.I could also mention Del Potro, or Federer, for that matter. But I assume that you were talking about the best player in the world after Fed, anyway.

He is definatly, one of the most talented tennis player! He was good on 2007. , 2008., 2009. (the best of his play) and I hope he will the best on this year, he has everything for No 1! Go Nole!!!

I think you misunderstood what Ale93crespo wanted to say.

I think he wanted to say was Novak did his best today's match. Novak was not his best form today but he did his best to win today's match. I hope Novak will back his best form as soon as posible.

Novak is best for us Novak's Fans.

@Ale93crespo If he is the best today, why does he still only have 1 slam? Your reasoning makes no sense. Since Novak reached the US Open final in 2007, Federer has won 4 slams, Nadal has won 3 slams, and Del Potro/Djokovic have won one each. In that same amount of time, Nadal has won 8 of their 13 meetings while Federer and Djokovic have split their 8 previous meetings. I understand if he is your favorite player, but saying anything that claims he is anywhere the best today is ridiculous.
