The Saudi-Iranian Neo Cold War could spark a regional conflict, economic crisis cover up?

Saudi Arabia and Yemen have been bombing the Houthis rebels said to be fighting for their freedom but Saudi Arabia and Yemen both accuse Iran of funding the operation. This is just one of the conflicts between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Iraq also is having border disputes with Iran involving both countries military. Could this spark a regional conflict and possibly a UN police action? There has also been reports of US jets joining in supposedly bombing Al Qeada in Yemen. Some reports say only drones have joined. Throughout history whenever there is a large economic collapse or depression governments seek to start war.
