@Gallifrey1991 Usually, films are broadcast for a 7 year period of time, afterwards, they're projected in art houses just like this one. If sometimes their lives can go on, it thanks to Henri Langlois who, at the French Cinematheque, is in charge of their conservation. And if you have chosen to come and see the movie you're about to see tonight or if you're used to watching again the movies that you love, then you are inevitably friends of the cinematheque.
