this is so touching. he is a beautiful baby and i know you enjoy every bit of him. my son was born with a very rare disorder called ring13. i know how it is having the drs say they dont know what is going to happen next, or he is not going to do things and then he proves them wrong.its always nice knowing i am not alone.

Thank you for your comments. He is a sweet little angel. Bryson is now 26 months old and despite what the doctors said because they know so little about Trisomy 13, is healthy and is a survivor.

I was touched by your story! My son has such a rare chromosome disorder that he is the only known case ever who is missing his particular chromosome. It's a partial deletion of chromosome 7. He has had heart surgery, a trach, and now has the trach out. He is almost 4 and has been thru so much! I just want to tell you that God can get u thru anything and it does get better. My prayers are with u and I wish u and your son the very best! God Bless You!

Oh believe me, things have gotten better over the last 2 years. He has changed so much and has developed his own unique personality. I'm Grandma, so I'm biased, he's such a cutie. He has also been through 3 surgeries, numerous MRIs, CAT scans, x-rays, etc and is amazing to us because he has been pretty healthy for the most part. The surgeries for cleft lip & palate repair & tube in the ears. That's it!
