Used a gyro sensor to mimic my finger movements. The code for this project is in: http://popak.org/robot/hand_v2.c

gyro sensor gives analog millivolt output or milliamp? whats the linear scale( Min and max)?whats the VCC power?

    thanks

  • gyro gives digital angular velocity output. NXT reads the output and my program does the numerical integration. Let me know if you want the code (it's in RobotC).

  • one question : is it a magnetsensor or what???

Yes i am know my english is bad XD

  • The sensor is a gyro sensor.

  • what if you twist your hand?

  • I could make it twist as my hand twists, but

I would need another gyro sensor (which I don't have). I integrate the output of the gyro to get the tile and feed it to a PID controller to control the motor.

  • now just turn it into something useful please

  • actually i would like to control with PLC...i dunno much abt MicroP...anyway thanks

  • thx

    XD

  • you should get 5 gyro sensor and program each finger to the gyro sensor for thet finger and each finger has a motor then you could individually move your fingers ad the robot would do the same it would cost a lot but it would be really cool
