and, they told me i can plug it in my guitar without even using an ampl, and it sill would record the sound of my guitar without distortion. is it true?

when u record one thing, can u record another sound over it! so for example: play some guitar and solo over it and record 2 things on one track!

It would sound bad for drums, usually when recording drums you put a mic on each drum.

me to i recorded stuff from my roland micro cube with distortion.i cabled it like the book says and i get those shitty aquostic noises.
