@crazyability There are numerous studies of fetal development which show that from 35-37 weeks is when brain scans display neuronal bursts which indicate pain. Youtube does not allow links in comments, but a simple google search for "fetus feel pain 37 weeks" will bring up results.

The heart valve does not start pumping until 5-7 weeks. Some abortions happen before that. And, a pumping heart valve is not enough to warrant a fetus more rights than the pregnant person.

@crazyability Studies have shown that a fetus can not differentiate between neutral touch an painful touch till as last as 37 weeks. That means they do not feel pain until well into the later portion of gestation.
