Starcraft 2: Lost Viking Part 3

Starcraft 2, Lost Viking Mini Game.

In these videos I play through the mini game. There are three stages to the mini game, once you beat the three you can start over from the beginning but the enemies are harder.

In this play through I get up to the 6th stage, and finally die right before the mini boss.

Power Ups I recommend.

Side Missiles are the number one priority here, they help you clear all the incoming enemies even though they are weaker on the bosses.

Drones are second priority you grab these so when you take a hit you won't die. They also have an added bonus of having a tracking missile.

Bombs I rarely use the bombs, just use them when you think you're in over your head and about to die. On my first play through I had 18 bombs going into Stage 6. I will also use bombs to clear the enemies so I can get a drone faster before it falls off the screen or changes into the Plama.

Plasma Canon I usually don't get this except for Terra-Tron, but once I get his patterns down a bit better I'll stick with the Side Missiles. I kept the Plasma on stages 4-6 because I wasn't sure how much I could handle. Honestly if I had switched I think would have gotten further.

I'll get it, that was only my 2nd time getting past the 3rd stage. I'm getting pretty good at it, next time I sit down I'll probably get the 500k achievement.

I've gotten 3 achievements already. One for getting 125k points, one for 250k points and one for beating Terra-Tron.

There is a fourth achievement once you get 500k points, I should be getting it shortly.

Good luck:) my strategy was to save on life and bombs:) at some point I had 20 bombs and 8 lives:) so make sure to dodge a lot, and save bombs for level 6 and 9 when TerraTron attacks:) one more thing - looks like after level 6 the difficulty is the same as for 4-6 so if you beat them 7-12 is the same stuff and same difficulty:)
