It's been a few years since the Czech Republic skated away as champions at the IIHF Ice Hockey U20 World Championship (2001 was the last Czech gold). The positive news is that efforts to re-build the once excellent Czech U20 program are starting to show some progress. The coaching staff and players are confident of a much better effort than last year's seventh-place finish. Paul Romanuk reports for IIHF.com
