In January 2010, I visited Mumbijo Primary School in Buhera (Zimbabwe). Like many other schools in Buhera, Mumbijo Primary School faces many challenges as described in the interview I did with Mr Luckson Sandada (a senior teacher at the school). Of great need is school furniture, building renovations (new buildings), water supply, teacher's houses, the list goes on. Buhera South Development Association, is spearheading development of the district. In addition communities in the district are also seeking help that can allow them to have income generating projects and a better life. Buhera District is one of the 57 Districts in Zimbabwe that still needs development in all aspects of the economy. For more details please contact Kennedy Mavunganidze at kmavunganidze@yahoo.co.uk.
