@kadajxl If you impact with the back of the heel you can indeed impart more power, but you also run the risk of blowing out your knee (i.e., your upper leg continues downward, but your heel is caught on your opponent's clavicle). Even if you don't injure yourself you can still find yourself caught with your heel up in the air.
By hitting with the ball of the foot with toes pointed upward you gain more control of the end of your kick and still impart a good deal of force.

if you kick like that and when the leg is up the opponent bring your foot on his shoulder and starts pushing down your leg at the knee pressure point wouldn't that just suck?

your suppose to connect with the heal, thats what causes the damage, the way they just showed was more like a slap to the face which won't hurt much LoL
