Have you ever heard about any other sports where they do not aim to be the best in the world cup for the lame excuse that they might get injured ahead of the season? Would China do that in table tennis? Norway in cross-country? Spain in soccer? Just because you're dominant, doesn't give you a freecard. That way you either seem afraid or utterly arrogant. Way to go as sports idols...

Possibly Curtis Granderson due to his strength but maybe not due to bad batting average RF. Next WBC I'd like to see my boy Jered Weaver along with Justin Verlander and Clayton Kershaw. That's gonna be just sickness right there. Along with possible offense of Matt Kemp, Troy Tulowitzki, ex-USA players Curtis Granderson and Mark Teixeira.
