  • stumbled over this vid while searching for a Delta King, great sound, nice performance! whats the song you're playing?

  • A personnal stuff (improvisation)inspired by the WILKO JOHNSON style of playing.

  • I have the Carmel Burst Delta King. Are you using the original pickups?

  • Yes i am using the original pickups.

  • Had a Delta King for about 6 months now; love it. I wanted a cheap hollowbody and this fit the bill and then-some! Still considering replacing the pups at somepoint though.

What amp are you using there? Can't quite get that same sound with my H&K Vortex.

  • It is a 60 w morris amp. A japanese old brand (from 70s I think).

    Product Description

    Oscar Schmidt

A classic and versatile bass at an affordable price. The OB25 is the perfect entry level bass for younger students with smaller hands allowing them to experience the joy of playing bass without the diifficulty a larger scale bass would present to small hands.

  • I just bought one 2 days ago for $150.00. I am a beginner. I traded a small (7/8) size acoustic I had, for 1/2 credit on a Tobacco Sunburst Delta King. So.. $80 later I have a set of strings and a Delta King. Love the neck, and how easy it is to bend strings. I have a crappy 15 w pracice amp.. so down the road, as my teacher shows me more stuff, I'll get a better amp.

  • @martinmest I commented on this vid a while back now - so for you, or anyone thinking of getting one of these guitars... Do it!

It's pretty decent stock for jamming around on; but take it to a trusted guitar tech, have the frets dressed (levelled out/reprofiled) and get it set up for 11's with a low action and it absolutely destroys!

It's never going to be a Gibson; but between this and the Epi Dot? Get the Washburn! Out of the 6 electrics I have, the Delta King is still my favourite to play.

  • do you recomend this guitar? do you think is better that epiphone dot?

  • Man they sounds awesome. I wish I could play like that. That sounds amazing. You play like a beast.

  • i just got this guitar in red and i was actually really impressed.i always wanted the 335 dot but this guitar made me forget about it

  • I Just bought one in sunburst. Great guitar. For me anyhow because Im a beginner. Stays in tune fairly well. I expected a piece of garbage for 100.00 but I would never trade this for a comparable Squire or anything.

  • requires soldering...instructions are easy to find...or have installed where you buy the p90
