Marriage Encounter

Interested in a Marriage Retreat? ... this may or may not be your thing. First, decide if you want a faith-based retreat or not, then go from there. If you are not religious I am sure there are other Marriage Retreats BUT since I do not have that information, I can't help you or give you any recommendations. Sorry.

For those interested in a faith based Marriage Retreat, I would highly recommend WWME (World Wide Marriage Encounter). I will put the links below!!

You look so pretty and I'm jealous of how big your closet is! LOL Good for you guys for doing the retreat. I think healthy and constructive communication is a struggle for most people and it's hard to break old habits. Just being aware of those deficiencies within ourselves is already a start. In high school I was in peer support and did a similar retreat (although obviously not one based on couple-hood) that focused in communication and so much of that stuck with me. Good video!

@VegetarianWifey I totally believe that communication and work on our issues is something that needs to be happening and kept in balance. We struggle in our marriage so trust me, I know!!

Wes & I went to one during our engagement..we had a blast. Not only did we learn about God's desire for our marriage, but also had some good old physical fun at that..lol.
