No, I don't have anything lined up yet, but I know there are a lot of my hospitals and doctors' offices out there who are actually looking for medical transcriptionists there. Unlike here, where everyone is either conracted out. There's only ONE doctor's office in this town who has medical transcriptionists and to try and getting a position there impossible.
TN LOOKS nice to the outside visitor, but once you live here a while you come to realize that they're really not. I belong back in CA...
I hope you have great luck in California. Wondering if you have something lined up there? I'm sure you are aware that California like the majority of states are completely bankrupt. U.S.A. is the Titanic sinking slowly. We're screwed basically. Hopefully we can survive the next Greatest Depression and see better days once again. I wish you the best! By the way, I've been to TN a few times and really liked it, everyone was very nice.
No, but thank you for replying! I have a degree and can't even get a job requiring ged's or high school diplomas... In fact it's so bad I'm going to move away from Tennessee to California, and hopefully as soon as I can.
I've been looking for a job for 2 years! And it's not that I'm a total FRY or anything! I'm half-way well-spoken and somewhat intelligent but I Iive in a very backward place and if I get "ma'am-ed" or "Miss Jacquie'd" one more time, I'm going to scream! Good luck to you too!
i lost my job too, worked for my brother-in-law who just said one day "well, i can't afford to pay you any more"... i just turned 56 years old!!! no one's going to hire me, you'll find a job!! good luck to you!!
Hey, thanks for giving me the inspiration to take what I am doing a lot more seriously.
