IconNicholson developed Social Retailing® to help designer Nanette Lepore reach out to the youth market. By integrating Web 2.0 into the physical retail store, the system allows instore shoppers to virtually connect with anyone, anywhere in the world to receive realtime shopping feedback. The video features footage from a trial run of the system at the Bloomingdales flagship store in Manhattan, which increased sales for Lepore fourfold. Social Retailing® was selected by Time Magazine as one of the Best Inventions of 2007.
