Honda Insight Review

The Honda Insight is set to re-write the economics of Hybrid ownership in Australia. The bottom line? With the price of oil heading north and a pricepoint around $30,000 (that's $10,000 cheaper than a Toyota Prius) the Insight could well be the right car for Honda at exactly the right time. The new Insight is basically a fuel-efficient city commuter car with very few inherent compromises. Eco-cool features? Plenty — how about fuel-saving automatic engine shutdown when you're stopped in traffic, plus an 'eco coaching' driving indicator that trains you to drive for peak fuel efficiency? See if the new Insight is green enough (or, maybe, too green) for you.

Like this car, it has a bit of the 2012 Civic body in it. Just wish the safety ratings on this car were a little better.
