EVERY CLUB SHOULD BE RUN BY GAYS THEN THEY WOULD BE AMAZING

@kdw75 a) women are allowed to have eye candy once every 5000 years in these kinds of places and in commercials and magazines and b) it was the 70s, for the 70s those kinds of effects were good.

At the 0:52 mark, I believe this guy may have been the actual bus-boy the movie "54" starring Ryan Phillippe was based on. Many wonder how "fun" this place must've been, but it's crucial to recall there was a pretty brutal dark side to this particular disco. Only certain people were even allowed IN, because of their so-called "exclusive" (i.e. you aren't pretty enough or rich & famous) door policy- not to mention they activley encouraged drug abuse in there. Disco music's not my thing though.

I remember my uncle came back from a NY business trip ( home to Australia) and we were fascinated by his story of one night in Studio 54 with his wife ( RIP Barbara).
We were into a vastly different musical style, but even down under had some concept of his brush with high style.

-
the gay sean was big in there

Why does 54 seem to be so into men. They needed some hot women serving drinks in there. And the "special effects" were pretty lame.

to live back in the 70's would be a dream.
i am always utterly fascinated by the legend that studio 54 was. must have been a lot of fun. the 'party days' of history.

@jenzeppelin I have to agree... It excites me every time I think about the amount of fun people must have had. Disco music is awesome and Studio 54 was a legend of its time. I would kill to be able to go back and experience that euphoria and freedom!
