If Jesus, who is GOds own son, had his own battles with the devil, are we more than him? We have to learn, we are not perfect, we are weak. What can we do? Only praying is not enough.
The bible tells us so often, what TO DO.
There is no way back to god without our works, even the old apostles knew that and fighted the good fight : 1.Tim. 6:12
"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses."

Hello reaganaut1, I appreciate your fair and honest comment, and I understand , what you mean. And many mormons , too, I think. Please let me give you my view of our relationship to Jesus and works: Yes, it is Christ, who lives in us because of our faith, I agree whole. And this Jesus in us has to fight with our weakness, our natural man, and we keep his commandments, as good, we are able and become more and more like him.
Even Jesus Christ had his battle in the desert and many other battles.

This video actually made me sad. It is not us who does the work. Christ did it all, he finished the work on the Cross. It is Christ who lives in us, because of our faith in His sacrifice we are regenerated or Born Again. Once our hearts are regenerated, then He works through us to accomplish 'good works' and causes us to endure to the end.
On our own, there is no way we can produce works pleasing to God or 'choose the right'.

Reaganaut1 - this video is not meant to diminish Christ's great atonement. on our behalf. On the contrary, these quotes and images are meant to strengthen our belief in Him, and in His power to help us remain 'born again'. These inspired quotes offer hope that no matter how difficult our lives become, we should not let discouragement overcome our ability to exercise faith, do good works, and endure to the end.
