The simplest and greatest piece of advice that I have to offer you is this:
Great vocalists have an arsenal of techniques, or, "bag of tricks"
You're pulling the same thing out of your bag every time, whether it be for the lows, mids, or highs.
For example, really try to branch out from your comfort zone and emulate a similar sound to what Peter gets when growls "eaten" (without hurting yourself).
Oh, and As I Lay Dying is super lame xD

Bloodbath was found in the year 2000. That not oldschool to me.
But you are right. The music is pritty mutch like oldschool Deathmetal!

well thats what i meant. i know they arent an older band, but they play typical old school death metal (badass typical oldschool death metal)
