Defining Terrorism

It is somewhat ironic that whenever Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine try to resist the occupation of their countries and defend their families and homes from military aggression they are branded terrorists or Taliban fighters.

How is an occupied nation expected to meet foreign invaders who are bombing their country and destroying their homes - with sweets, flowers and open arms? Is that how Britain responded to German bombardment during the Second World War?

What if Britain were today under occupation - how would you react, seeing your homes and community being bombed and members of your family and friends being kidnapped, tortured and raped? Would you welcome the invasion, or would you consider it your right to fight for your country and resist occupation?

Why is it that when a non-Muslim kills someone in self-defense it is classed as lawful killing', but when a Muslim kills an occupier in self-defense it is deemed terrorism?

What is terrorism? Who is a terrorist? And how are Taliban fighters identified - is it the word Taliban tattooed on their foreheads?

In actual fact, according to the so-called civilized nations, Muslims who act in self-defense against military aggression, genocide or occupation are terrorists, and thereby dehumanised and stripped of any human rights.

Even people who happen to look Muslim are often presumed terrorists. The Brazilian electrician, Jean Charles de Menezes, was brutally executed by British armed police on July 22, 2005, after he was wrongly identified as a Muslim. Mr. de Menezes clearly would not have been murdered had the officers known he was not a Muslim and were not so eager to kill one in pursuit to be seen as heroes.

In 2004, the US military used illegal chemical weapons in their savage assault on civilians in Fallujah, Iraq. Thousands of people were made refugees; women and children were mutilated; and hospitals, mosques, schools and businesses were indiscriminately bombed. Anyone who acted in self-defense against such naked aggression was deemed a terrorist insurgent or member of Al-Qaeda.

In 2005, an innocent young Muslim girl was horrifically gang raped by a group of American soldiers in Haditha, Iraq. The girl and her family were subsequently murdered and their corpses burnt to ashes. When a group of Muslims retaliated against the regiment they were portrayed as barbaric terrorists by the US government and media.

A number of Muslims in Britain were also branded as terrorists and convicted under draconian anti-terror legislation in April 2008 for merely speaking out against the war in Iraq and stating that Muslims under occupation have the right to defend themselves (against war crimes) and resist occupation. The protesters were jailed for a total of over 19 years for speaking out in a supposedly free and democratic country.

And in December 2008, 140 sheep were reportedly massacred and wounded by American apache helicopters in the Lagham province of eastern Afghanistan after being mistaken for Taliban fighters.

So in conclusion, who is a terrorist in the eyes of the democratic, liberal and civilized world today? Answer: A Muslim who acts in self-defense is a terrorist, whereas a non-Muslim facing the same circumstance is allowed to kill. Muslims who speak out, protest against the war on terror and believe that people have the right to resist occupation are terrorists - non-Muslims, on the other hand, have the right to freedom of speech. People who fight in the name of religion are terrorists, while non-Muslims who fight and kill for democracy are heroes. Muslims who fight against occupation are terrorists, but non-Muslims who do so are freedom fighters. And a person - or even animal - that appears to be Muslim is a potential terrorist or Taliban fighter.

Under the guise of fighting terrorism, thousands of innocent people have been killed, displaced from their homes, incarcerated and tortured by Britain and the USA.

I can only assume this guy is, a descended from slaves himself. I always wonder why some of the descendants choose to adopt the Muslim faith when it was the Muslim Arab Slavers who sold their Ancestors into slavery for 100's of years. By the way, Slavery in America & the West Indies could never have happened without the help of Arab Slave Traders in Africa who sold African people into slavery in the first place. Historically Christopher Columbus never discovered America, it's a myth. A Man called Giovanni Caboto did & named it after an English merchant from Bristol called Richard Amerike who funded the expedition.
