One Day At A Time:// The Date PARTONE (Story in Desc.Box)

Demi's Prospective:
"You don't hate me do you, Joe?" I asked, clutching my phone hard, nervous of his reply. He chuckled slightly, which made me relax; "Of course I don't Dems. We promised that the next time we got asked if we were dating - we'd tell. And it just so happens today was the day." I smiled at his answer, as a sigh of relief escaped my lips. "Good. I can't wait for our date tonight. Where are you taking me?" I became slightly begging. I hated acting like this, but I also hate surprises. "I'm sorry Dems. All I can say is, be ready for the paps." I gulped. Public. We are going on a date: in public. "Can't wait." I answered. I honestly couldn't.
I was just scared of the reaction of the public of our relationship. And Joe understood this.
We hung up after saying by to one another, and I searched through my closet for the perfect outfit...

-LATER THAT DAY-

Joe's Prospective:
I cut off the engine and stared at her front door. This is the first time the press will see me and my beautiful girlfriend out in public. I cleared my throat and un-did my seatbelt. I then stepped out of my car and locked it. I walked up her driveway and then rang the doorbell.
A small figure came to the door. Her face beamed; "JOEY!" Maddison yelped. I chuckled and crouched down, to hug her; "Hey Maddie." I replied and then wrapped my arms around her, as her arms hugged my neck.
"You are too sweet." I heard another female voice say. I pulled out from the hug and looked up to see Ms Lovato stood there, a huge, proud smile on her face; "Hi Dianne." She hated me calling her 'Ms Lovato' so now it's just Dianne.
"Hello Joe. Nervous?" I just smiled politely and nodded.

Demi's Prospective:
I heard the doorbell ring and my heart began beating faster. The last date me and Joe went on was when we filmed 'make a wave.' I went round to the Jonas' house and me and Joe hung out in his bedroom. We watched movies, his arm around me the whole time.
But this time it was in a restaurant (to what I can guess), and fans could eaily run over to us at any time, say "congratualtions," and then run off. I was nervous and excited.

I fastened my waistcoat button and then walked out of my bedroom. I looked ahead to see Dallas. She walked closer and hugged me tight; "I am so happy for you. You've admitted it to the public. I don't know how you do it Dems, but you always surprise me." I smiled big and hugged her again; "Thanks Dal."

Joe's Prospective:
"That sounds lovely." Dianne complimented. Maddison had walked off to the living room to play on the wii. We stood in the hallway still, waiting for my beautiful girl. I wanted to tweet something after she did: but I got scared, so I didn't.

Just then I heard familiar heels clanking on the laminated wood at the top of the stairs. Mine and Dianne's head snapped in the directions of where she stood. The corners of my mouth curved up into a huge smile. She held onto the banister with her left hand, and kept her gaze on me.
