OU's Gerald McCoy had 19 tackles, total, the whole 2007 season. The claim from Oklahoma coaches was that McCoy was often double or triple-teamed, which was why his stats were so pedestrian. This is a look at two plays from the 2007 Red River Rivalry that show Charlie Tanner dominating McCoy one-on-one.
As of tonight, Gerald McCoy is a multimillionaire.

the first play was a nice finess move but the guard. he locked the inside as if the play was going there then used mccoy's momentum to wash him inside as the ball went outside. that is just one play of 80 in that game. you can't feast off that. the second play was mccoy missing on the spal and rip, so he went to a spin that was not able to work. This is not domination from your OG

McCoy is a monster, he kicks somebody's ass on every play almost. Top10 pick easy.

McCoy is the hands down OU best player on the D line and Tanner is UT least talented starter. McCoy will make his plays but it won't stop OU from losing 5 times in Dallas in the last 5 years (I am counting the BYU game and inevitable smackdown in october this year).

great google Charlie Tanner what has he done? nothing, hmm, no one drafted him? wow he's great. McCoy? at the top of every draft board, as a redshirt sophomore
stupid to post this video, he had 2 sacks that game
why do you had MoCoy? you pick on his freshman year, yet sophomore year he's a BEAST

LOL! the first play gk drove stood him up and put him into the grass. The d line was on a slant forcing gk to the defensive left. the is the linebackers job to scrape and fill that gap. GK is a first round top 10 and possible top 5 pick according to most draft experts. tanner is a nobody. the closest he will get to the draft is military one.
