Er, actually this is a "meteor", not a spike. Once a spike hits you die, that's all. But this one just sends you directly down. You can still try to grab the edge if you have double/triple jump, but the Final Smash will hit nevertheless.

@szion72 Yeah. When I tried this for the first time, I didn't expected it to happen. I was just thinking about a way to avoid people from triple jumping the Aura Storm and this was the result. I can't say how much I had fun playing online and everyone was like "OMG how did you do that?"
