  • Ed Harris should have won but Coburn was damn scary and despicable in the film, he gave a great performance

  • Thanks for uploading, Oscars! Just on a personal level (and hopefully others want it too) -- I would like to see Emma Thompson's Screenplay oscar win for Sense & Sensibility -- and also her Best Actress Oscar for Howards End

  • @Ganonlink1991 I would argue that it should've gone to Thornton. But Coburn is a legend no doubt

  • @drxwnedxwxrld I know the Howards End win is on here. haven't looked for it but Sense and Sensibility is likely here too.

  • @Ganonlink1991 I agree exactly

  • Coburn is so bad-ass.

    "My, my, my."

  • Ed Harris should have awarded for The Truman Show and The Hours.

  • the former opinions surely don't know what having a bad father is..and what a classic actor coburn was so shut up your mouths and once in your lifetime go and watch the magnificent seven or more, and you will know why they did no t recognize ed harris with a silly movie where jim carrey acted...what boring and they did with a such a tremendous actor like nick nolte

  • Pretty much the only deserving win that night.

  • Ed Harris deserved this Oscar. Or so for The Hours", in 2003.

  • Even if he had lost , James Coburn got to go home with that absolutely beautiful woman, his wife. Lucky Man Indeed

  • Julianne Moore should have presented his award. If only the Academy would have awarded her for her performance in Boogie Nights the year before!
