@acelakid94 Children are permitted at an Adult fare. Only on weekends the reduced fares apply. Also the AAA and other discounts can be used.

That's weird. I thought you had to have an adult ticket to ride on Acela Express Monday thru Friday, but on weekends children can ride too.

Guess not. Almost every Acela I've been on had some obnoxious family on it.

Thats not the Acela train... A) i never once seen a child on an Acela Express Train ever in 10yrs. B) the Acela Express ONLY uses the upper level stub end platforms.

I just took the Acela again today, and once again had the unfortunate experience of traveling near a family with two obnoxious young girls. It was most unpleasant.
