These new mono block power amplifiers were built for my system specifically. These are 100 watt units each and are capable of driving 4-8-16-32 ohm speakers. They use a 5R4G rectifier, four EL-34 power tubes that are in a push-pull-parallel arrangement, one 12AU7 inverter tube and one 6C4 pre amp tube. I built these to be mirror images of each other.
The phono pre amplifier is one I made also. It is RIAA corrected. I built the power supply separately and attached it to the actual phono pre amplifier with a three foot cord that carries the 6.3vdc for the heaters and the high voltage for the plates. This ensures the 60hz vibrations and the magnetic field produced by the power transformer don't get to the pre amp and amplified. The phono pre amp can be fitted with either a MM or a MC cartridge.
Even though this video was taken by my digital camera and played over a digital medium, you can really hear the sound quality of my amplifiers.
