needs more energy. some of the dancers looked like they weren't dancing it full out.

As for the music it is quite all right, a typial reel, that's fine, but the dance itself.... the young ladies seem to have next to no enthusiasm or energy at all... as if they are forced to do it

We've been doing it for only about a year - with the newest dancer only learning it in the 4 classes prior to this performance! For that, I think we did ok. I agree that we have much to improve on, but no one likes to hear that they stink! :) I'm just not quite the type that will delete all the negative comments and only leave the good ones! :)

That is not the Fairy Reel. It's called Sally Garden's Reel.

It's more than 4 times. It's more like 100(I'm serious when I say 100)times in numerous dance classes to get it up to snuff. I'm certainly not a championship dancer. I was just agreeing to what GoodIrishWitch said. Believe me, I'm still not perfect at the dance, but I can dance it now with a lot of energy and I don't even have to think about what step comes next. That's what I love about the Fairy reel. It's simple and fun!
