Having grown up watching and listening to Sesame Street records, some of the songs have a very special place in my heart. "I Don't Want to Live on the Moon" was originally sang by Ernie (Jim Henson) in 1978.

Man, this song used to make me cry, every time! Don't know why, but even now, it makes me depressed. And while I can blame this wetness in my eyes a little on missing childhood, Jim Henson, Mr. Rogers, and good programs...I'm 20 years old XD

This song was always my favorite as a kid.. it always brought tears to my eyes and it still does.. here I am now a 33 year old man.. and I still love this song.. It's amazing and always will be.

how does this not have 1 million views at the very least, seasame street has been around ever and this song has been on 13 years longer then I'm alive and I'm 20 years old.
