Josh Ritter w/ Special Guest Joan Baez ("500 Miles" and "Annabelle Lee")

From Josh Ritter's concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco on June 24, 2010, surprise special guest Joan Baez is welcomed to the stage to perform "500 Miles" with Josh. She then reads the Edgar Allan Poe poem "Annabelle Lee" - which is an introduction to Josh Ritter's new song "Another New World" (not in video).

@fixapony Yeah, we both missed it by one night (and nearly 500 miles)! How apropos! I love Josh's introduction of poetry into the concert setting - which he does often in Ireland. Unfortunately I guess he realizes that the LA audiences might not be as appreciative. :-{

How great to hear that audience explode with cheers. Having been to Josh Ritter concerts, he builds a huge warmth and optimism in the air. Though its harder to get higher, the gift to the audience of sharing the stage with such a great name put the atmosphere in the stratosphere. Loved it. Thanks.
