Nokia 5800 touch-tetris test

I tested Nokia 5800 by adding quick&dirty touch-screen support to my old mobile tetris game in about 10 minutes. From this poorly implemented, laggy and not calibrated test, i think touch screens might have some potential in games (after more tweaking..)

I've been mostly away from computers, so I've had no time (least for mobile developement) and have many other projects for upcoming weeks, so no promises for proper release atm :(

One note that might disappoint some: it's a midp application, not native symbian ;\ But hey, if it works!

I need to rewrite those little bit laggy graphics for bigger screen in 5800 (damn slow java!), and make setup to calibrate the controls.

Now it seems that I might not have enough spare time in my hands till January :(

I don't even know why i put the video here - hope someone with more time got inspired, implementing similar for those waiting :)

Many other touch-games planned, no time :(

just go to a wi-fi hotspot then hit the nokia ovi store then that's it. . . you can download there tons of apps, games and many more for free

look for a mobile game forum. Something should pop up
