Finger pantomime? Five amps? Has Owen O'Malley gone mental? Probably.

Owen uses his experience as a high school cheerleader to stack five amps in pyramid fashion and connect them all to the Akai E2 Head Rush for some seriously complex delay effects. This rig would be highly impractical to tote around in the back of your van, but you can still tote around your dreams.

Check this video out, it's one of the most unique setups we've had in studio as of recent. If you only watch one movie all winter, make it our Akai E2 Head Rush demo, part two.

  • "Why am I talking?" . . . a very profound question indeed.

  • Why the hell do people keep on commenting for this Owen guy to stop talking? When I watch a demonstration I want to know how the pedal works and what its capabilities are. I don't want to sit around hearing someone jam on a loop pedal for 10mins.

You made a very good review!

  • Attention all nerds out there: go buy 5 amps, and enjoy 2 fisted wanking all night long...sheez!

  • i think he dose an excellent job explainning very clear and concise thank you son

  • @RUDIE110 and I'm using it just straight through an amp** which sucks. thats what I meant

  • first time I've got a pedal and used one and Im shit with technology and thats what is holding me back. I haven't got a mixer for it cause I can't afford one and I'm which sucks. how do you use tape echo delay and loop with that? can you do that? It's so frustrating. I've got so much to give and the lack of understanding of technology is getting me down and holding me back. Would be awsome if i could get some simple instructions :) please

  • 5 amps sounded excellent with the Pun'kins riff

  • Ground loop!

  • Lugging 5 of them around makes me think of a time when a huge piece of dirt, clay and rocks fell on my back in a trench and my friends had to get it off. I told them to stop screaming just dont hit me in the back with the shovel. Talk about a backache.

  • Im glad I watched the Videos, I certainly do not want a pedal that has outputs for 5 Amps. I dont have the money for 5 at the moment nor do I think I will waste that much bread in the future. Sounds cool but I work with ONE amp and plan on not having 2 85 watt tube amps but one practice and one normal amp.

  • I love that he's clearly sitting on the floor for this demo lol

    Thanks for posting, Gearwire!

  • Great Looper but who do u know has 5 amps let alone one for gigging?

My point is why not just feed into a stereo amp/ PA from a small mixer? fed to ONE STEREO AMP!
