Mr Tommy Aldridge. A machine on drums. The custom cage and carbon fibre drums were cutting edge. The drum mounting system allowed the kit to float in the cage. This set up allowed for the kit to be handled as one unit minus cymbals and be picked up by a mechanical arm with a hook and put into a road case. Insane to see it live.
And No body does a hand solo like Tommy. I wish Steve Vai would use him for a drummer on his lastest shows.

@basscom77 I agree 150%. I love Vai too, but Sykes "IS" the only Whitesnake guitarist and I love that video of Sykes solo doing "Badboys"---his sound is much thicker and dirtier and his style of playing is amazing. I'd love to see Sykes with the 'Snake" again --- and playing his 1974 Les Paul custom. Cheers
