I too saw this movie when I was a kid and was BLOWN AWAY by its originality and creativity and it still is a great movie to me I have it in my collection and always watch it very well shot for its time period. I am an independent film maker and would LOVE to shoot a re-make of this if I can get a hold of the people who own the rites to it. Would even like to have original cast members back for it. And the band performing too. To great of a movie not to honor its work!

Damn, you stopped it at the best part. I saw this movie in the 70's and he gets torn apart by an alien when he goes home.
